Kitchen Progress

After weeks of "camping" in the basement, we're back upstairs. We're functioning in the new kitchen, but I still spend a lot of time looking for things as there are still many boxes downstairs. We're still needing a range hood, back splash and other details, but for the most part it's done.

We're quite happy with the way things turned out. And have many people to thank with helping us out. My Dad for help with demolition and putting the sub floor in. Our Moms for loads of delicious food. Brent and Sarah for helping us put the in the flooring (which involved staying until 2am on Sarah's birthday - I think I owe them a huge supper!) Patrick for help with hanging dry wall. And Devin who took weeks off work to plug along with this huge project. I think we've become quite used to him being around all the time!

Thanks everyone. It's nice to have doors that close and a sink that doesn't back up!
Pam: the color is Hampshire Grey from Benjamin Moore. Which is the same color I had before, so it wasn't terribly exciting painting it again, but why mess with what ya like right? Hope you're feeling better!
